Route Changes Effective April 1st, 2024

Routes will be changing on April 1st, 2024! Our route update postcards hit the mail and you should be receiving them shortly if your pick-up day is changing. If you do not receive a postcard your pick-up day will not be changing. If you were previously a Zerbe Refuse customer please read the section below titled “Zerbe Refuse Customers” for specific details on your route changes.

In the event that your trash is not picked up the week the new routes go into effect please contact us so we can correct it. We did what we could to mitigate the opportunity for mistakes with our postcard mailing but there is an off chance that an address was missed and did not receive one. We are also doing what we can to prep our drivers for their new routes to reduce the opportunity for mistakes and missed stops. Please bear with us during the first few weeks of this change as are only human and there is always a margin of error when making larges changes like this and putting our operators in unfamiliar areas. 

Lastly, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE have your trash out the night before your pick-up day to avoid a missed pick-up.

Again, if you were a Zerbe Refuse customer please read the section below. 

Zerbe Refuse Customers

ALL prior Zerbe Refuse customers will be receiving a postcard regardless of a day change. If you receive a postcard that lists a new pick-up day the same as your current pick-up day that is ok, your pick-up day is not changing.

That being said, your service frequency may be changing. Some areas and some dumpsters were only being serviced every other week, or every four weeks. We will now be servicing all customers, both residential and commercial, from Zerbe Refuse on a weekly basis. 

If you are a dumpster customer who was on an every-other-week, or every-four-week dump schedule your container will now be dumped weekly. This service frequency change will not affect your pricing. 

Overtime, our goal is to have all dumpster customers outfitted with an appropriate sized container for weekly pick-up (for example, if you have a 4yd dumped every four weeks that may equate to a 1yd every week). This will take time as we will need to source more containers, and we would also like to track waste flow over the next couple months to make sure everyone ends up with the correct container size prior to any container swaps. 

In the meantime, if you have a dumpster size in mind that you would like to switch to for weekly pick-up please contact us and we can make that change for you. However, please be aware that if the container size you choose does not equate to your current waste flow your pricing may be affected.
