New Tarper!

Ok, I know you all have seen these on trucks before, but we just got our first one and we’re pumped about it. We got a new automated tarper for our 2008 Sterling hook truck and it’s changing our game with roll-off boxes. This truck hauls our 10 and 15 yard containers, which we used to have to tarp and un-tarp by hand. We spent all kinds of time tarping and un-tarping boxes over the years, its unbelievable when we stop to think about it. This new contraption of ours does it in a fraction of the time with the flick of a switch; its pretty cool. This allows us to do more jobs in one day, and it also makes pick-up and disposal safer for our drivers.

We may not have the newest, biggest, or baddest trucks on the road, but we do everything we can to keep our trucks up to date and efficient. The more efficient we are the better we can serve you and that’s what’s really important because without you we wouldn’t exist. In the future we are looking to equip our larger roll-off truck with a similar tarper (except bigger) so we have the same convenience with our 30 and 40 yard containers, too!

This was just some exciting news we wanted to share with our customers; we thought it was a pretty cool addition to our fleet. Now when you see this truck on the road you can say, “Hey, look, there’s that Heim’s truck with the new tarper on it! I read about that on the internet! That’s awesome!”
