June 17th is National Garbageman day! Who would have guessed that garbagemen (and women) have their own day!? On June 17th we would like to honor our garbagemen and give them a day off…Sadly, if we did that your garbage wouldn’t get picked up and it would really smell! So that option is off the table…
Instead, on June 17th if you see one of our garbagemen, or any garbageman for that matter, thank them for coming out everyday to help keep the environment safe and keeping our streets and backyards from stinking. Without the men and women who choose this career our beautiful country sides and tidy city streets wouldn’t be so beautiful or tidy.
