2026 Route/Pick-Up Changes

We will be changing our routes in 2026. This change will affect pick-up days for many customers. The route changes will be done incrementally, with the first change happening the week of June 1st and the second change happening mid to late July.

Here is what to expect:

  1. If your pick-up day is changing you will receive a letter in the mail with your new pick-up day and what week it will take effect. Notices will be sent out about 2 weeks prior to the route change date.
  2. In some cases you may still receive a letter even if your pick-up day is not changing. This is ok, this just means that the new route you are on now includes customers who used to get picked-up on a different day and they got switched to the same day as you. When we send letters they go out to an entire route to make it easier for our direct mailing service.
  3. When you receive your letter please mark your calendar and make yourself a reminder to place your trash out the night before your new pick-up day. Even if your day is not changing the time we pick-up your trash most likely will, so please, please please, have your trash out the night before.
  4. If your new day is earlier in the week than your previous pick-up day please put your trash out week one even if you do not have a full cart. For example, if you were picked up on Friday and your new pick-up day is Monday you may only have a small amount of waste from the weekend. Please put your cart out on Sunday night for Monday anyway. This will avoid having overflow in the second week after the route change.
  5. If your new day is later in the week than your previous pick-up day and you have additional trash week one you may put it out with your cart. It will not be charged as extra as long as it is not a bulk item and is obviously your typical household trash generated from the additional days since your previous pick-up.
  6. Many of our drivers will be learning completely new routes in areas they haven’t serviced before. This is a learning process so please be patient with us as our drivers figure out their routes and get to know their new customers.

As our customer base grows, route changes are inevitable to keep us operating as efficiently and effectively as possible. It’s never convenient, but is necessary and we appreciate your understanding and continued business. We look forward to servicing you all with the coming new routes and well into the future!

Thank you!
